Family Finances teaches you the monthly budget cycle and makes it easy to follow it. First you'll select (or add your own) budget items. Next you'll determine spendable income. Next you'll enter how much you need to spend each month for each item. During the month you'll track and enter actual spending and at the end analyze results. You'll then make adjustments as necessary to balance the budget (increase income or decrease outgo) then you'll do it all again.
